Everything is perfect here, had a fabulous short stay with wonderful service from Moshik the owner and the stuff. The location of the venue is absolutely incredible, just next door to the mountains above Lucca and hiking trails and lakes and nearby areas for lunch and dinner. Plus, it is set 3 miles from Ronchiglione.

Great old-fashioned spot with amazing views! the rooms are super spacious with comfy beds for a peaceful night's sleep. Situated up high in the mountains, this place is in a wonderful area to explore. 🏔️

This 500-year-old Medici style villa had me feeling like royalty. The estate is filled with secret paths, ponds, and gardens. Plus, the Italian wine.Oh, my heart! It reminded me why Italy is the most romantic place on earth.

They really need to work on their WiFi. I mean, who needs internet when you're staying in a picturesque villa surrounded by nature?

Nestled in the mountains, the villa is a 500-year-old Medici-style retreat that immerses you in history and charm. It's like stepping into a time machine and living la dolce vita in the Renaissance era.

The rooms at Villa Bertagni are absolutely charming and cozy. I felt like I was staying in a fairytale cottage. The seating area in certain units is a great spot to unwind and read a book or enjoy a drink. The private bathrooms are clean and well-equipped with modern amenities. I loved the outdoor pools, perfect for a refreshing swim on a hot day. The main villa is stunning, and exploring the estate made me feel like a true aristocrat.

The only drawback for me was the lack of a bathtub in the private bathroom. However, I understand that some guests may prefer a shower instead.

villa bertagni surpassed our expectations during our recent weekend trip to castelnuovo di garfagnana. the attention to detail, spacious rooms, and two pools made for a luxurious and comfortable stay. the hosts were incredibly friendly and provided helpful recommendations for sightseeing and local restaurants. the artisanal breakfast was a delightful touch.

I loved the comfortable seating areas where I could relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The private bathrooms were well-equipped with all the necessary toiletries, and the hairdryer was a nice touch. as an adventurous traveler, I found the nature-inspired design of the guestrooms very appealing.

A small drawback for me was the presence of a bidet in every unit. It's a personal preference, and while some guests might appreciate this feature, it wasn't something I particularly needed during my stay.
